Keith Olbermann Who?

Well, I have been hearing the name more and more over the last 6 months. And after watching this piece of commentary by him I am left stunned. What Keith Olbermann does is quite literally breath taking. He lays waste to the liars, to the administration, to the warmongers, to the propagandists and to the man who really has no idea as to what he is doing when it comes to National Security. This video is on youtube.com. Watch! This comentary is a response to Wallace's interview with Bill Clinton on Fox News the other night.

that guy should be recruited by the DNC and made to write speeches. he should also have an evening talk show on msnbc, because honestly, what good liberal tv is there outside comedy central, whose context totally destroys the credibility and "integrity" (not the right word - the hosts dont take themselves seriously but talk aobut serious stuff that NEEDS a serious arena, i guess is what im saying - the context loses its meaning). i am just relly impressed, ill let you know if i hear more from him.

I was also stunned when I watched Olbermann's latest comment. When you watch the rest of the mainstream media play complete lap dogs to the Bush administration, you're not exactly expecting such blunt and courageous commentary as Olbermann gave.

But this is what needs to happen. It's gotten to the point where Bush just says without shame the opposite of what overwhelming evidence suggests. For example, the recently leaked NIE says what many of us already knew: the Iraq war is actually fueling terrorism. What does Bush say? That drawing such a conclusion is a "misimpression" that "buys into the enemy's propaganda." Freedom is slavery, war is peace in Bush's tedious assemblage of neurons.

send this link out to as many people as we can. This Olberman piece is stunning. It's what Tom Friedman should have been saying since the war started: this is an illegal operation, and those who started it should be prosecuted and punished. Friedman now tries to ride a new horse, coming out against the war, but his support, and that of hacks such as David Brooks gave the event the veneer of respectability and validity. They should be ashamed.
